Penang is never lack of great bars for chilling out and this sassy drinking enclaves really captured our attention and appetite - Seven Skulls Bar. Tucked in the popular Muntri Street in Georgetown, you can enjoy some amazing cocktails here while feeding your stomach with the amazingly crafted food. Apart from the classic Western dishes, the latest trendy food - Indomie Burger is one of the must try delicious dish here. Its noteworthy that not many bars serve such a great spread of food while catering for your drinking choices.

You may wonder, why the name Seven Skulls is used?

It is a mystery to ponder actually. The lady owner even offered up to RM 500 for whoever manage to resolve the real meaning behind the name of the bar.

看似阴森诡异的名字却有着优雅的室内设计，V 形的酒架子更显气势。除了有清新的啤酒，这里的鸡尾酒特调分别是 Kelapa Martini, The 180 和 Kao Sa Jit.

顾名思义, Kelapa Martini 有微微的椰子清香。而我们更喜欢酸甜的 The 180 以及充满道地风味的 Kao Sa Jit.

来一点小吃吧！Salted Egg Chicken Bites 味道浓郁，口感酥脆，非常下酒。Beef Bruschetta 就是番茄牛肉口味的法棍面包。

这里的菜单不单单只是小吃，还有汤品和主食的选择。Spinach Soup 味道不错而 Creamy Truffle Mushroom 也被烹调得浓郁入味。我还蛮喜欢 Indomie Burger 的，因为店家把汉堡肉与即食面搭配在一起，重口味的菜色更适合喝多几杯。

而喜欢吃面的朋友可以选择 Meatball Pasta, Chicken Lasagna 或是其他的意大利面。Harissa Roasted Chicken 是利用香料腌制到位的鸡肉而 Pan Seared Seabass 则是皮脆肉嫩。

Had to make a trip here after seeing how beautiful the Bababar looked like in pictures. Turns out, it's also quite grand-looking in real life with its mixed colonial +peranakan feel.

It's a basic bar in restaurant, with 2 signature drinks and a small classic cocktails menu. I'm having the Georgetown Cooler (RM35 - nutmeg juice, lime, grenadine, gin, longan, topped with soda) - which kinda looks like a Singapore Sling because of the colour and the use of the hurricane glass. But it's a simple refreshing drink with the spice of nutmeg coming through. He's having the Penang Craft Beer IPA (RM39).

I was informed by the super friendly barman that the seven terraces is owned by someone who owned the Galle fort in Sri Lanka, and most of the bar staff came from there. Even the furniture is from Sri Lanka. Which explains the name of the other signature cocktail - the Gallefort Special (lime, lychee, passionfruit syrup, brown sugar, vodka).
