Deep Things of God versus Deep Things of Satan
“But to us, God revealed them through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.” (1 Corinthians 2:10 WEB)
“But to you I say, to the rest who are in Thyatira, as many as don’t have this teaching, who don’t know what some call ‘the deep things of Satan,’ to you I say, I am not putting any other burden on you.” (Revelation 2:24 WEB)
There are deep things of God and there are deep things of Satan. These two are polar opposites.
The deeper you go into each one, you access more exclusive benefits and consequences that people don’t usually receive.
The deep things of Satan usually appeal to the flesh—meaning fast and tangible benefits to attract the initiate into going deeper.
This means that material wealth, lustful pleasures, power, influence and supernatural abilities for manipulation and destruction are some of the benefits. These things appeal to the flesh, to a person who is carnally minded.
On the other hand, the deep things of God are things of the spirit and requires faith to access.
The fullness of its benefits cannot be experienced in this lifetime, but only in the Millennium and beyond, whereby the believer receives positions of honor.
Pursuing the deep things of God allows one to access the miraculous power of God through the Holy Spirit.
Maturing in the deep things of God leads to life and life more abundantly, but maturing in the deep things of Satan leads to sin bearing the fruit of death.
Will you trade your soul for temporary pleasures of sin, or place your faith in Jesus to have eternal life?
If you are already a born-again believer, you’re already saved and can never lose your salvation.
However there will still be a difference in eternal rewards between Christians.
There’s no such thing as a standardized ‘rewards package’ that every believer will receive.
The apostles Paul and Peter compared the Christian life to a race. Will you stroll along in the race and be content just to finish, or will you run like a well-trained competitive athlete to win a top prize?
Pursue the deep things of God and you’ll receive amazing eternal rewards that will last forever!

Many of us are taught that vulnerability and weakness go hand in hand.
We hold back our tears, hide our fears, and never let people see us at our worst.
The idea of letting others into our darkest thoughts terrifies us.
Because we believe that if others knew who we really were - they’d reject us.
How people react is often based on fear - people are seeking security - and sometimes that looks like rejection, abandonment, manipulation or betrayal.
But we make the mistake of taking that on.
We tell ourselves it’s because we are ‘not enough,” or “too much,” or somehow at fault for the negative reaction.
When really you’re being offered the opportunity to not only witness your own mind, but see the wounding of another.
The meaning you create around conflict determines how it impacts you.
If you’re afraid to show emotion, you’ll attract others who are afraid to show emotion or are afraid to be with big emotion.
If you accept yourself you’ll no longer seek external validation of your worthiness.
You won’t need everyone to like you, be there for you, or hold space for you.
You’ll attract others who mirror your love for yourself, and support will be abundant.
